Integration brief exacqVisionCameras, VMS and NVR

Alerts From Every exacqVision Camera, Evidence in One Place

exacqVision records every camera at a site and is where staff look afterward. AI Live Insight reads the same streams and watches all of them as it happens, raising an alert when a rule fires. The clip around each event lands in Nexus, AI Intelligence Hub answers questions over those clips, and Redactor blurs faces and plates before a copy leaves the building. exacqVision stays the VMS.

What you can do together

  • Watch every exacqVision feed for people, vehicles, weapons, license plates, fire, and PPE or its absence, with zone rules for loitering, intrusion, line crossing, crowd count and direction of travel, through AI Live Insight.
  • Get an alert with a snapshot by email or webhook the moment a rule fires, and keep the seconds around it with event-driven recording.
  • Hold the clips in Nexus with a SHA-384 integrity hash, a chain-of-custody log and a retention schedule, and ask AI Intelligence Hub which clips show what, each answer cited.
  • Release a copy with Redactor blurring the public's faces and plates, a code on each redaction recording why, and the original left in the library.

How it connects

AI Live Insight connects over RTSP. Each camera is added with the address, port, stream path and credentials of the stream exacqVision republishes for it, or of the camera itself where it is reachable directly. The H.264 or H.265 bitstream is read as emitted, codec detected per source.

Only the live stream flows, inbound. Detections become a timed metadata track beside each recorded segment, and the clip around an event is filed in the library under one Recording Folder, with the library's access control, retention and chain of custody. Classes, thresholds, zone rules and clip length are set per camera in the portal.

There is no pull from the exacqVision archive. Footage already recorded there reaches Nexus by export and upload; no API carries it across. Camera control, exacqVision's own events and bookmarks, and its user accounts stay in exacqVision.

A scenario

  1. 07:50, staff corridor cameraSomeone comes in through the exit-only door, against the arrow on the frame. AI Live Insight raises a Medium alert and emails the security officer a snapshot.
  2. 08:05The officer watches the clip and sees a badged contractor at the wrong door. He marks it False positive with a note that carries his name and the time.
  3. 13:20, lobby cameraOn a hearing day the lobby zone passes the capacity set on its crowd rule. The High alert moves the count on the Operator Dashboard, and the desk opens the overflow room.
  4. 21:35, east lot cameraA car enters the closed lot. The vehicle intrusion rule reaches the on-call officer by webhook with a snapshot. The plate is read and kept as a searchable event, and the clip lands in Nexus.
  5. The following weekA claim arrives about a fall in the lobby. The risk manager asks AI Intelligence Hub for the day's lobby clips and gets a cited list, then exports the hour from exacqVision and uploads it beside them, where it takes a hash and a chain-of-custody log.
  6. A records request followsRedactor blurs the public's faces, records a code on each redaction and exports the copy. The original stays in the library.

What stays where

exacqVision remains the VMS

It records every camera, holds its own events and bookmarks, and manages users. AI Live Insight reads the stream beside it. Nothing is replaced.

No API into the archive

VIDIZMO products read live streams only. Footage exported from exacqVision and uploaded to Nexus then sits under the same retention and chain of custody.

Processing in the building

A GPU server on site runs detection and recording, so alerts do not need an internet link. The library, the assistant and redaction run there too, in your own cloud, or air-gapped with self-hosted models.

Two orders, one setup

ExacqVision and its cameras come from your integrator. VIDIZMO licenses its software separately; adding a camera is configuration, not a project.
