The media Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) can specify an mms, rtsp, or ms-wmsp moniker. If the URI specifies the mms scheme, the Player attempts to stream the file first. If the file cannot be streamed, it downloads the file progressively. If the media URI specifies another scheme, such as http or https, the Player attempts a progressive download first. If that fails, the Player attempts to stream the file.

- Microsoft Word files (*.doc, *.docx, *.rtf, *.txt, *.wri, *.log)
- Microsoft Excel files (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlw, *.xlc)

Bandwidth, Network, Content Caching and Firewall
Network connectivity with 500+ Kbps per viewer is recommended at a minimum to stream video without buffering. Check your network speed and firewalls if you face difficulty signing in, viewing, or uploading files. Users in a slow or congested network environment may experience problems during playback.
If you are experiencing persistent network issues, please contact your Business/Enterprise IT team to work with VIDIZMO’s team for content caching and acceleration solutions that are specific to your business needs.
VIDIZMO’s team can work with your IT team to install and configure VIDIZMO Edge Caching Software at various locations inside your firewall to reduce bandwidth congestion within your company’s internal network.
VIDIZMO products use industry-leading public and enterprise content delivery networks (CDNs) such as Microsoft Azure (Cloud), Azure Media Services, Limelight, Akamai, CISCO ACNS, CISCO WAAS, and content caching hardware such as Blue Coat and Riverbed to overcome network congestions and bottlenecks commonly faced by today’s medium to large businesses.
In addition, if your organization uses a firewall to restrict internet access to specific websites and domains, you need to configure the firewall to allow access to the URLs where we host the videos. To do this without any issues, you can contact your Business/Enterprise IT team to work with VIDIZMO’s team to enable or whitelist the following domains and URLs in your organization’s firewall:
• enterprisetube.com
• vidprdcdn-v8.azureedge.net
• vidprodstorage.blob.core.windows.net
Failure to whitelist these domains and URLs may result in difficulties signing in, viewing, or uploading files or problems during playback for users in a slow or congested network environment.
