Does it work with the cameras and recorders already in our stores?

It works with any camera or recorder whose stream is reachable over your network, because AI Live Insight reads the standard video stream cameras and recorders already publish, and the recorder keeps camera control. The deployment can also record and play back footage if you retire the recorder.

Will it detect shoplifting?

Shoplifting is not a fixed detector; the live classes include robbery, fighting, trespassing, weapons and people. Other behaviours can be checked with prompt-driven analysis, which looks at stored frames rather than the live stream and is billed as usage of whichever language model the deployment uses, local or hosted. VIDIZMO works closely with you to calibrate the models, thresholds and rules to your own cameras and stores, and the pilot measures the result on your footage, but an alert that could send someone to confront a person should still be checked by a person first.

Can alerts show up in the systems our team already uses?

Detections go out by webhook, an automatic message to another system's web address, and AI Intelligence Hub can connect to any system with a REST API by configuring its endpoints. A system that accepts outside events can receive them; otherwise your team works alerts on the VIDIZMO operator dashboard. The platform does not read POS transactions, but your exception-reporting system can receive each detection's camera and time.

What will our security review ask about?

Single sign-on through your identity provider, with multi-factor authentication enforced there or by email passcode. Roles and per-camera access control who sees what, every action is recorded with user, time and IP address, outbound connections go only to webhook endpoints an administrator configures, and each share recipient gets their own expiring link.

Do you run face recognition on customers?

Face recognition is optional and does nothing until your organization configures it, by enrolling the people to be matched, and an administrator turns it on. Detection reports that a person is present, not who they are.

Do we need a server in every store, or the cloud?

You need neither, because processing runs on premises in a central or regional data center that reads store streams over your network or on a server at a large store, and the pilot measures which fits your bandwidth. Any NVIDIA GPU of the Ampere generation or later runs it, including server-class cards; even one consumer RTX 5090 handles roughly 32 to more than 100 cameras, depending on how many frames are analysed and how many models run per camera.
