Finding What Favors the Defense

Proving the File Has Not Been Altered
When you offer a recording at trial, you can be asked to show it is the same file that was collected and that nothing changed in between. A SHA-384 hash is recorded at ingest and verified on demand, and every action taken on the file is written to an audit log whose entries are cryptographically sealed, so any later alteration breaks verification and is detectable.
