One Platform for Hospital Safety and Privacy: Product Demo
Six hospital leaders answer their yearly review from one record: live alerts on existing cameras, redacted releases, legal hold and AI answers with sources.
Once a year, every hospital has to answer for the year behind it. This demo follows review day at Lakemont Regional Medical Center, where security, emergency nursing, privacy, risk counsel, education and IT each bring one question and answer it from a year of footage, records and recordings.
AI Live Insight flags staff-only door entries, falls and patient exits on the cameras the hospital already owns, and every alert is acknowledged and resolved by name with a note. Each incident is one case in Nexus with legal hold, file hashes and an audit log. Redactor removes faces, names and record numbers from footage, documents and audio before each requester gets their own expiring, watermarked copy, and AI Intelligence Hub builds cited timelines and answers policy questions with the source attached. It runs on the hospital's own servers, its own cloud or as SaaS, with a BAA available. For hospital security, nursing, privacy, risk and IT leaders. Once a year, every hospital has to answer for the year behind it. At Lakemont Regional Medical Center, it's review day. Six leaders, six questions, and a year of footage, records, and recordings to answer them with. Healthcare accounts for nearly three in four serious workplace violence injuries in US private industry. In 2025, large health data breaches affected nearly 61 million people, and requests for footage and records never stop. Here's who's at the table and what each of them needs to know.
Theo runs security. His question: where is risk building? All year, AI Live Insight has read the cameras the hospital already owns over RTSP and ONVIF. No new cameras and no new video system. It flags what Theo sets it to watch. Someone walks through a staff-only door at triage, a patient falls in the waiting room, and at 2:15 in the morning, a patient leaves 4 West through the exit door. Maya runs emergency nursing. When her nurses needed help, did it come?
Every flag became an alert with the clip attached on the security desk dashboard, in an email with a snapshot, and on paging by webhook. Each alert was acknowledged and resolved by a named officer, and a note is required. So Maya isn't guessing, she's reading the record. Every alert of the year sits in one list linked to its clip. Anna is the privacy officer. Her question: what left the building, and was it clean? Every incident became one case in Nexus, with its footage, reports, and recordings together.
When police, counsel, or risk management asked for footage, Redactor detected every face, and a reviewer checked each copy. Each requester got their own copy. The original never changed. Notes and recorded statements went through the same workflow. Names, dates of birth, and record numbers were removed from documents and muted in audio. Copies left as expiring, watermarked links, and every view was logged. Jordan is risk counsel. Is the hospital ready if this goes to court?
When a claim arrived, he put the case on legal hold. Every file carries a hash from the moment it was uploaded. And every action is logged by user, time, and IP address. Then he asked AI Intelligence Hub for a timeline. Each step links to the page or the second of video it came from. Ruth is the nurse educator. When staff need a policy mid-shift, can they find it? They ask in plain words and get the hospital's own answer with the source attached. Sam is the CIO.
Can the hospital keep running all of this safely? It runs where policy says it should, on the hospital's own servers, in its own cloud, or as SaaS. A BAA is available, data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and VIDIZMO is certified to ISO/IEC 27001. And it connects to what's already there, cameras, Teams and Zoom, SharePoint, and clinical systems like Athenahealth with Epic on request. More than 150 integrations are listed. Last, the CEO asks what the board wants to know.
Is the program working? One prompt sorts the year by unit and by hour, and every number opens its cases. One year, six questions, each answered from the record on one platform. See it with your own cameras and records. Request a demo at vidizmo.ai.
