Bank Branch Security
Hundreds of Branches, One Small Team, Only the Cameras That Matter
Scheduled rules watch vestibules and ATMs after hours, and your operators see only the branches with open alerts. An incident across several branches becomes one case that police receive with its custody record.
The branch loop
Pick your estate, see what the cameras already tell you
Lobbies, teller lines and back offices are covered, including in open-format branches.
- Robbery and fighting are recognised activities, and guns and knives are detected classes, each raising an alert with the clip.
- Intrusion and line-crossing rules run only when the branch is closed.
- Mixed estates work, because streams are read from IP cameras directly or from the recorder serving older ones.
ATM vestibules stay open after the branch closes, when there is nobody in the building to notice an incident.
- A dwell threshold per zone flags loitering overnight and stays silent during the business day.
- A fallen person is a recognised activity, so someone collapsed in a vestibule raises an alert.
- Each analysed camera is recorded in a DVR window you set, so the minutes before an alert are kept.
A small team in one room often covers hundreds of branches and their ATMs.
- The dashboard brings forward cameras with active alerts and counts open alerts by severity.
- Alerts move from New to Acknowledged to Resolved, with a note required to resolve and every action attributed.
- Online, reconnecting and offline status per camera means a dead feed is found before it is needed.
An investigator can go from a vestibule incident to a police referral without a trip to the branch.
- Clips from each branch sit in a single case with its own access and custody trail.
- With AI Intelligence Hub, which is optional, long footage is summarised and answers across the case cite their sources.
- Each recipient gets their own link, which can expire by date or view count.
What You Get
What branch security on existing cameras gives you
Rules that know banking hours
Loitering and intrusion rules are drawn as zones on each camera and scheduled to chosen hours and days, so a vestibule rule watches overnight and stays quiet while customers use the ATM.
Alerts into the systems you already run
Detections go out by webhook to ticketing, messaging or case systems, by email per camera with a snapshot, and by SMS to on-call staff through an SMS service. Each alert carries the camera's location where it has been entered.
An evidence record for the referral
Every clip, download and share is recorded with user, IP address and time. Access granted on a case passes to its evidence, so an investigator sees the case and nothing else.
Inside the bank's own data center
The platform installs on your hardware and network, and can run fully air-gapped with the AI models running locally.
How It Works
Watch, respond, refer
Watch
Scheduled zone rules and live detection run on branch and ATM camera streams and raise alerts with a clip.
Respond
Operators see the branches with open alerts, acknowledge and resolve them with notes, and the alert reaches your other systems by webhook.
Refer
Clips from every branch involved become one case, released to law enforcement through per-recipient links.

School and campus safety, asked and answered
Our estate mixes analog and IP cameras, and alerts need to reach our existing console. Does that work?
Any source that serves RTSP or ONVIF can be read, so analog cameras join through the recorder that already digitises them, though analog footage gives the detector less to work with. There is no plug-in for a video management system's console: detections go out by webhook, and AI Intelligence Hub connects to any system with a REST API by configuring its endpoints. Otherwise operators work alerts on the VIDIZMO operator dashboard.
Can hundreds of branches send video to one central site?
A central server reads one stream over the WAN for each camera it analyses, so the load depends on which cameras you choose. Rules can be limited to vestibules, ATMs and entrances and to scheduled hours, and if branch recorders stay the recorders of record, the DVR window can be kept to minutes while clips around events are still kept. Any NVIDIA GPU of the Ampere generation or later runs the analytics; even a consumer RTX 5090 covers about 32 to more than 100 cameras, depending on frames analysed and models per stream.
What will our CISO's review ask about?
Sign-in goes through your identity provider over SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect, and SSO can be enforced so MFA policy stays with your provider. Access is role-based and set per camera, and regions or acquired banks can keep separate content and camera access in one deployment. Outbound connections go only to endpoints an administrator configures, and with the models running locally no model call leaves the bank. Data can be exported through the REST API.
Does it detect card skimmers or ATM fraud?
It does not detect card skimmers or read ATM or teller transaction data, and skimmer installation is not a fixed detection class. It watches behaviour such as loitering, after-hours intrusion, robbery, fighting and weapons, and a prompt-driven review of footage for tampering can run after the fact.
Does it replace our alarm monitoring?
It does not replace alarm monitoring: alerts go to your own operators and connected systems, and your intrusion and panic alarms stay as they are.
Does it satisfy our Bank Protection Act or other regulatory requirements?
The platform carries no banking regulatory certification, and the attributed record of each alert, the custody trail on every clip and the account of every release support your security program's own reporting. Banks that also record contact-center calls can read about [Call Center Compliance](https://vidizmo.ai/solutions/call-center-compliance).
Start with ten branches and their ATMs
A pilot on the vestibules that worry you most, calibrated with VIDIZMO, measures how many alerts your operators would receive, how many turn out to be real, and the load on your WAN. It can run in your own data center or as a hosted pilot, and you can buy direct or through a VIDIZMO partner.
