Incident IQIT Service Management
One Technician, Several Schools, the Same Question Twice a Day
This connector is not prebuilt. It would be built to your requirement on the REST API and ingestion path the platform already uses, with scope and effort agreed per engagement. Incident IQ is the help desk and asset management system K-12 districts use for devices, tickets and facilities requests. The staffing reality is what makes it worth building: one technician commonly covers several schools, and a large share of the tickets are the same handful of questions.
What you can do together
- Answer the recurring device and access questions from district policy, with a technician approving before anything sends.
- Flag a device whose failure pattern only shows in its asset history, not in any single ticket.
- Give one technician covering several schools a first pass rather than a queue.
- Draw the line on what may be answered automatically, narrowly at first.
How it connects
Tickets and the asset history behind them would be read over the REST API into a workflow. Three things follow from having both. The workflow can answer the repeat questions against district policy already indexed in the library. It can flag a device with a pattern of failures, which needs the asset history rather than the ticket alone. And it can write a resolution back, which is where the care goes: a human-in-the-loop node puts a person in front of anything that writes back or sends.
An engagement would agree which ticket types may be answered without a technician. In a district the people raising tickets are teachers and students, so a confident wrong answer costs more than a slow right one, and the line is worth drawing narrowly at first and widening from what actually happened.
Incident IQ stays the system of record for tickets and assets. Its workflows, its asset register and its reporting are unchanged.

A scenario
- ScopingThe engagement would agree which ticket types are in scope and what always reaches a person.
- SetupThe API connection is configured once against the agreed ticket types.
- A morningRecurring login and device questions get drafted answers from indexed policy, each approved before sending.
- A patternThe workflow flags a cart of devices with repeated charging failures, visible only across their asset history.
- ReviewThe district widens or narrows the auto-answerable set based on what the term showed.
What stays where
Incident IQ remains the system of record
Tickets, assets and its own workflows stay there.
Writes wait for a person
A human-in-the-loop node comes before anything written back or sent.
The auto-answer line starts narrow
Teachers and students raise these tickets, so a confident wrong answer costs more than a slow right one.
Processing runs where you deploy the platform
