One Assistant Across HubSpot and Every Recorded Call

HubSpot runs the commercial side of a business: the website and landing pages, the contact and deal records behind lead management, and campaign and email marketing. Connect it and AI Intelligence Hub reads those records beside the recorded meetings, webinars and product video that Nexus holds, answers questions across both, and drafts what comes next with a person approving before anything is sent. A player embeds into HubSpot pages, and a HubSpot form can sit inside a video. HubSpot stays the CRM.

What you can do together

  • Ask AI Intelligence Hub for an account's history before a call and get it assembled from HubSpot's records and the recorded meetings in the library, each source cited.
  • Have a follow-up drafted from what was said in the recorded meeting, approved by the rep before it goes back to HubSpot.
  • Qualify and route an inbound lead against your own criteria in a workflow, with an approval node before any step that writes back or sends something.
  • Serve campaign and product video inside HubSpot pages from Nexus, and capture leads with a HubSpot form inside the video itself.

How it connects

HubSpot publishes an official MCP server, and AI Intelligence Hub connects to it as an MCP client. The server is configured once with a name, URL, transport and the headers that carry its credential; its tools are discovered when the connection is bound. In a workflow, an MCP node runs one named tool with arguments fixed at design time. For an agent, an MCP tool hands over the server's tool list, and the agent chooses a tool and fills the arguments as it works. The connection carries the credential it is configured with, so what an agent can read in HubSpot is bounded by what that credential is granted there. Retrieval from the library alongside it still runs under the asking user's own identity.

Where a step needs something the MCP server does not expose, the HTTP Request node calls HubSpot's REST API. In the other direction, the platform's REST API and a workflow's HTTP trigger are the inbound paths, so automation on the HubSpot side can start a workflow.

The JavaScript widget places player and library views inside HubSpot-hosted pages, restricted to approved domains, with the platform's access control still applied. A HubSpot form placed at a point in a video captures a lead, and the submission routes into HubSpot, not the portal.

How it works HubSpotCRM and ERP

A scenario

  1. 08:30A lead arrives from a landing page. A HubSpot workflow calls the platform's HTTP trigger, and an AI Intelligence Hub workflow reads the contact through HubSpot's MCP server, checks it against the team's criteria and proposes an owner. An approval node holds the assignment for the sales manager.
  2. 10:00Before the discovery call, the rep asks what is known about this account and what they asked on last quarter's webinar. The assistant reads the account through the MCP tool, finds the webinar recording in the library and cites the moment in the transcript.
  3. 11:45The recorded discovery call has been ingested into Nexus, transcribed and summarized by a workflow on publish. The rep asks for a follow-up drafted from what was said. The assistant drafts it, shows an editable preview and waits. The rep approves, and the text goes back to the HubSpot record through the same connection.
  4. Next weekMarketing embeds the product demo in a HubSpot landing page and places a HubSpot form four minutes in. Viewers who fill it in become HubSpot contacts; the video is served from Nexus under its own access rules.

What stays where

HubSpot remains the CRM

Contacts, deals, campaigns and email stay in HubSpot, and what HubSpot grants the connection's credential decides what a query returns. AI Intelligence Hub reads through the MCP server and the REST API, and writes back only after a person has approved.

The recordings stay in the library

Meeting recordings, webinars and product video sit in Nexus under role-based access, audit logs and retention. Retrieval runs under the asking user's identity, so an answer cannot draw on material that user could not open.

Nothing is replaced

HubSpot forms keep capturing leads, and HubSpot pages keep serving video through the embedded player.

Processing runs where you deploy the platform

Shared or dedicated SaaS, your own cloud, or on premises. Reaching HubSpot's hosted MCP server needs a network path to it.
