The Costa Rican Social Security Fund (Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social), or CCSS for short, is a public health organization actively involved in improving the country’s overall health system.
The Costa Rican healthcare system emphasizes preventive care. Hence, CCSS is actively involved in disseminating information and educating the public on various illnesses and medical conditions. A lot of this includes streaming webinars and recorded conferences as on-demand video. CCSS also has several internal meetings, training and communication videos that need to be restricted to certain individuals. Hence, they needed a solution that could be used for both public streaming and secure internal streaming as well.
CCSS needed a single platform that could be used for both secure internal streaming and for distributing videos to the public as well. The organization used Zoom to conduct meetings, online panel discussions, and webinars. A solution was needed to publish these meetings in an on-demand library. CCSS needed a solution that was available in Spanish.
VIDIZMO provides a Gartner Recognized Enterprise Video Content Management System, which allows the flexibility to be used in both cases – public streaming and private streaming. It also allowed CCSS to automatically ingest its recorded Zoom meetings and webinars, and make them available as on-demand videos to the public.
VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube offered detailed access management features that allowed CCSS to make their video content available to the public while simultaneously restricting certain individuals.
VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube also offers 40 languages, including Spanish. This allowed CCSS to make its content accessible to its diverse audience throughout the country.
